Infinity Nikki Beta Test to Begin Q3 2024

Sony revealed during the May 2024 State of Play that Infinity Nikki will begin its upcoming PS5 beta test in Q3 2024.

Infinity Nikki is described as an open-world dress-up adventure game. Players are able to explore the “vast” Miraland as Nikki by using her magical powers gained by wearing different outfits and discover the “mysteries of styling”.

The game is being developed by Chinese studio Infold Games and is a part of the company’s larger Nikki series, which features a number of dress-up games. Infinity Nikki maintains the dress-up component of the Nikki series, but incorporates action combat and immersive exploration.

Gameplay for the game can be seen below:

In the past, one of the first Nikki games was Love Nikki: Dress Up Queen. It involved collecting pieces of clothing and dressing up a character to complete challenges. Shining Nikki followed on mobile devices after it. Like the original, it also involved dressing up your avatar to succeed in challenges.
