French indie developer Studio Enigami is working with publisher Focus Home Interactive to get the vibrant RPG Shiness out for PC in early 2016.

To celebrate the new partnership, as well as the game being at Gamescom, a new trailer has been released that shows the current state of Shiness.

Shiness has you playing as Chado as he attempts to bring peace to on the most hostile islands that are formed from the fragments of planet Mahera after it collapsed. The island is so hostile due to a conflict between multiple kingdoms but Chado has the ability to community with Shiness, which is a mysterious spirit imbued with magic.

Chado is joined by five companions who you can develop through two skill trees (physical attacks and magic) to unlock new talents and spells throughout the journey. Watch the trailer to get a look at the real-time combat and some of the lands you’ll be able to freely run across.
