Microsoft brought the Xbox 360 over to India with games like Gears of War, Project Sylpheed and Vampire Rain. But what about local tastes? Microsoft is trying hard to appeal to Japan with Ninety Nine Nights and Lost Odyssey. Is Microsoft going to design a game with India in mind?

Not yet, but Codemasters is taking a stab at it with Yuvraj Singh International Cricket 2007. This really isn’t an India exclusive like Korea’s karaoke game. Yuvraj Singh International Cricket 2007 is actually a repackaged version of Brian Lara International Cricket 2007 or if you’re in Oceania it’s called Ricky Ponting International Cricket 2007. However, it is interesting to note that some company is thinking about India as a serious market. At least serious enough to tweak the title screen and put a local face on the cover of their game.
