Inazuma Eleven Remake Announced for 2026

During the latest Level-5 Vision 2024 broadcast, the developers announced Inazuma Eleven Re, a new remake of the original Nintendo DS title. The game is currently in development and will release sometime in 2026 for the Switch, PS5, PS4, and PC.

The newly announced remake will sport a cel shaded 3D toon graphic style during exploration and gameplay, changing to stylized full-body 3D models used during special techniques. Meanwhile, hybrid 3D and 2D animated sprites will appear during conversations and dialogue.

Level-5 only offered a brief 90 second teaser of the game, and you can check it out below. The new Inazuma Eleven Re teaser trailer of the remake is available in Japanese with English and Chinese subtitles available.

The first Inazuma Eleven game originally released in Japan on August 22, 2008, with the title releasing on January 28, 2011 in Europe and August 26, 2011 in the UK. The first title only saw its release in North America with the Nintendo 3DS version of the game that appeared in February 13, 2014.

The Inazuma Eleven Re remake is currently in development and will appear in 2026 for the Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, and PC via Steam.
