During tonight’s Level-5 Vision 2016, the company revealed the latest of the Inazuma Eleven series with Inazuma Eleven Ares, slated for a 2017 release in Japan.

 

The story is about a group of kids that are getting their soccer grounds taken away from them at school, and they decide to move to Tokyo in order to keep following their dreams and continue playing soccer.

To give you an idea on the storyline, it takes place in a parallel world after the first game, in a “what if” story where the aliens never appeared.

The above is a look at the three protagonists. From left to right we have Ryohei Haizaki, Asuto Inamori, and Yuma Noza.

A new device called the “Eleven Band” will interact with the game as a pedometer that can be used to help boost stats of your characters. It also acts as a clock and has NFC functions and other features that will be revealed later.

 

The anime is expected to launch in Summer 2017. Level-5 has yet to determine its release dates for regions outside of Japan.
