Immortals Fenyx Rising Might Launch on December 3, 2020

This article is over 4 years old and may contain outdated information

We might actually see another new game from Ubisoft this year. The Microsoft Store (briefly) hosted a product page for Immortals Fenyx Rising, which was originally known as Gods & Monsters. It not only shared new screenshots and details, but an alleged December 3, 2020 release date. Ubisoft has not commented and the listing has since been pulled. [Thanks, Wario64!]

According to the product page’s information, Immortals Fenyx Rising will be a single-player adventure starring the demigod Fenix. The Greek gods are in some sort of danger, and it falls to Fenyx to use powers from fellow heroes and demigods to restore them as they battle across an open world with abilities like telekinesis and flight.

A few other details about the release involve early adoption perks and technical details. For example, pre-ordering will get people an “A Tale of Fire and Lightning” bonus quest. Buying the Xbox One version will get you the Xbox Series X version for free via Smart Delivery. It will also be Xbox One X enhanced.

Here are the new screenshots that showed up in the Microsoft Store.

Odds are, we’ll know very soon if this leaked listing’s information is accurate. The September 10, 2020 Ubisoft Forward will be talking about the game.

Immortals Fenyx Rising is in development for the Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X, PC, and Google Stadia. If the leaked listing is right, its release date may be December 3, 2020.
