We’ve seen a lot of Animal Crossing: New Horizons in marketing campaigns—from KFC to the Tokyo Fire Department—but the latest from Swedish furniture company IKEA is a doozy.
Interior design and furniture are big parts of Animal Crossing, so the collaboration with IKEA makes total sense. To be more specific, the collaboration with Animal Crossing: New Horizons is with the Taiwanese branch of IKEA. The collab is essentially a recreation of its 2021 catalog using characters and furniture from Animal Crossing: New Horizons.
Check out some of the images shared on its official Facebook page below:
The top part shows pages from IKEA Taiwan’s regular 2021 catalog and the Animal Crossing: New Horizons makeover right below. The recreations aren’t perfect copies, but understandably so, considering IKEA has much more furniture and decor to offer. However, it looks like they still had some fun putting it together with stuff like fossils replacing the dino plush.
In this one, we see clever usage of the character’s head to replace the chandelier and their shirt to replace the pillow.
Another fun recreation, most notably the two characters.

In any case, whoever was in charge of putting these together definitely deserves a raise, as it’s easy to see how much time and love was put into it.
Animal Crossing: New Horizons is available for the Nintendo Switch.
