Where to find Flowery Key in BG3 – location

The easiest part of this quest is locating the Flowery Key in BG3. More than likely, you have already found it by now. However, if you are struggling to locate this unique item, head to the Open Hand Temple in the Rivington area. This is not available until you reach Act 3 and are able to visit this southern district of the city of Baldur’s Gate.

You will find the Flowery Key at the bottom of the Open Hand Temple in a cave that is hidden here. There is a shapeshifter here that you are able to loot the key off of the body of. Chances are, you will be here already if you accept the Open Hand Temple Murders side quest.

How to use the Flowery Key in BG3

There are two uses for the Flowery Key in BG3. The first of these concerns the quest to find stern librarian Ffion. You can accept this quest at Sharess’ Caress brothel in the Wyrm’s Crossing region where Rivington is. Once you have this quest and the Open Hand Temple Murders one from where we got the key, head across from the brothel to Fraygo’s Flophouse.

Go up the ladder at this location and use the Flowery Key on the locked wardrobe. In this hidden room, examine the bloodstains and the Temple Plans to find out the truth about events involving both quests. After this, return to Inspector Valeria across the street in the brothel to obtain the pass to enter the Lower City of Baldur’s Gate.
