How to Use a Fast Travel Mailbox in Hello Kitty Island Adventure

As you go about your business in Hello Kitty Island Adventure, a number of fast travel mailboxes will come up. However, you won’t be able to activate or use any of them for a while. Instead, it will continually offer an annoying message suggesting someone will eventually know how to use them. However, once you finally gain access to the Spooky Swamp region of the island by opening the gate with Chococat, you’ll be able to fast travel.

How to unlock the Fast Travel Mailbox in Hello Kitty Island Adventure

This is all walled off behind meeting Kuromi in the Spooky Swamp past the hub island’s gate. After talking to her for the first time, you’ll see a familiar exclamation mark over her head letting you know she has a quest for you. At this point, she’ll offer you the “Delivery Service” quest in Hello Kitty Island Adventure that unlocks the Fast Travel Mailbox.

The first part of this involves taking a pumpkin to My Melody. Kuromi will cite the Fast Travel Mailbox next to her in a “what’s up with that” sort of fashion, but doesn’t know how to use it. You’ll need to walk back to My Melody’s furniture shop at the island’s Resort Plaza.

Once you get inside the store, you’ll see her talking with Cinnamoroll. He happens to be wearing a post office employee uniform. That’s our mailman in Hello Kitty Island Adventure. You’ll mention heading back to Kuromi to deliver My Melody’s return gift to her, and he’ll offer to teach you about the shortcut. Accept, and he’ll tell you to activate each mailbox, you need to walk up to it, press the wing-shaped button, and you’ll be set. You can then fast travel to any other point on the island you already unlocked whenever you find a mailbox. You don’t have to actually be at a mailbox to do so. Bringing up the map lets you tap and return to any unlocked one.

Hello Kitty Island Adventure is available for Apple device and Mac owners via Apple Arcade.
