How to Upgrade Your Farm in Fields of Mistria

You cannot immediately upgrade your farm, and instead will need to unlock a few things in order to access the option; which includes upgrading your house and acquiring blueprints for barns and chicken coops.

The first thing you will need to do is repair the bridge, which is one of the first tasks that will be assigned to you. You can read more about that here.

After that, you will get access to the Carpenter’s Shop. Here is where you will purchase all farm upgrades, as mentioned previously. To upgrade your house you will need the following:

  • 500 Wood
  • 500 Stone
  • 5,000 Tesserae

Much like gaining access to the Carpenter’s Shop, you will need to complete another quest in order to gain access to building housing for your prospective farm animals. After completing several main story quests, which includes unlocking the mine. After you’ve done that, you will be asked to repair the old mill in Mistria. You can read more about that here.

Once you’ve repaired the mill, you will be able to purchase blueprints for a barn and coop. They will cost:

  • Small Coop – 75 Wood, 50 Stone
  • Small Barn – 100 Wood, 75 Stone

And those are just a few of the upgrades you can obtain for your farm in Fields of Mistria. No doubt there will be more as the game progresses in Early Access.

Fields of Mistria is available in Early Access on PC through Steam.
