How to Unlock The Weeping City of Mhach in FFXIV

As part of the Heavensward expansion, players will need to meet the following requirements to unlock The Weeping City of Mhach:

• Complete Void Ark.
• Reach Level 60 with your character.
• Be Item Level 205.

Unlocking The Weeping City of Mhach isn’t as intensive as unlocking Void Ark. However, players will want to unlock flying in the Sea of Clouds just to make the Shadow of Mhach Alliance Raids (including Void Ark and The Weeping City of Mhach) all that much easier to access.

Once you’ve completed Void Ark head to X:6.2, Y:5.8 in the Sea of Clouds and talk to Stacia to accept “The Weeping City.” Upon accepting the quest, you will talk to several NPCs before you are granted access to the second Heavensward Alliance Raid. This specific Alliance Raid features several nods to Final Fantasy IX, including the appearance of a very challenging boss.

Like all Alliance Raids, unique gear will drop from the boss fights, usually following a theme. In this case, The Weeping City of Mhach drops “Void” inspired attire. Additionally, the final fight will yield a chance to obtain a unique Minion, Triple Triad Card, and a crafting material. Below is a list of the rewards you can obtain:
