How to Unlock The Strayborough Deadwalk Dungeon in FFXIV Dawntrail

In order to unlock The Strayborough Deadwalk the following requirements must be met:

  • Reach Level 100 on any Disciple of War or Disciple of Magic Job Class
  • Complete the Main Scenario Quest “Dawntrail”
  • Obtain Item Level 690
  • Accept the Side-Quest “Something Stray in the Neighborhood”

Players will need to complete the Main Scenario Quests up to “Dawntrail” in order to unlock The Strayborough Deadwalk. This is a post-MSQ Dungeon, similar to Tender Valley. However, you will need to reach Item Level 690 at bare minimum. Thankfully, the Dawntrail Main Scenario Quests will make sure you’ve obtained a decent set of gear before the final conflict. You can read more about obtaining the new Dawntrail Artifact Gear here.

Go to Solution 9 and speak to Nostalgia at X:18.5, Y:18.2. Accept the quest “Something Stray in the Neighborhood.” From there, just follow the quest to be taken to The Strayborough Deadwalk. This dungeon has an interesting theme, and even more interesting boss fights. I won’t spoil anything, just know that you’ll be kept on your toes.

Final Fantasy XIV Dawntrail is available right now for PS4, PS5, Xbox Series X/S, and PC.
