How to Unlock The Skydeep Cenote Dungeon in FFXIV Dawntrail

You will need to do the following in order to unlock The Skydeep Cenote:

  • Accept the Main Scenario Quest “Road to the Golden City”
  • Reach Level 95 on any Disciple of War of Disciple of Magic Job Class
  • Reach Item Level 640

The Skydeep Cenote is a fairly simple dungeon to unlock, as it is one that is required for Main Scenario Quest progress. Simply follow the Main Scenario Quest and once you’ve reached the quest “Road to the Golden City,” you’ll have reached the second dungeon in the expansion.

Like previous dungeons, players can use the Trust System and enter The Skydeep Cenote with NPC companions. So you can choose to go in with a party of players, or with various NPCs that have accompanied you throughout the Main Scenario Quest. If you’re feeling unsure about certain mechanics, or are a bit nervous to play with other players, I’d suggest using the Trust System to get through this particular dungeon.

Final Fantasy XIV is immediately available for PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, and PC. The Dawntrail expansion is available in Early Access, with the full release to appear on July 2, 2023. If you want to know how to redeem your Early Access codes, you can read about that here.
