How to Unlock the Origenics Dungeon in FFXIV Dawntrail

  • Accept the Main Scenario Quest “The Resilient Son”
  • Reach Level 99 on any Disciple of War of Disciple of Magic Job Class
  • Reach Item Level 645

Origenics is one of the final dungeons in Dawntrail, and will be unlocked through Main Scenario Quest progression. This dungeon will only drop accessories, much like late-game dungeons in previous expansions, as you will be well on your way to receiving your Artifact Gear at this point.

Like all dungeons in the Dawntrail expansion, players can choose to run Origenics through the Trust System. This will allow them to take NPCs through the dungeon and go at their own pace. Which is something I suggest for Origenics specifically, as there are little bits of lore scattered throughout that you’ll want to stop and read. Especially if you’ve been enjoying the narrative thus far.

Running with NPCs also has it’s benefits, in terms of helping players learn mechanics simply by watching and see what they NPCs do. However, you will more than likely be running this with players at some point, as unlocking it will add it to your Duty Roulette.

Final Fantasy XIV and its Dawntrail expansion are immediately available for PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X, and PC.
