How to Unlock the Observatory Viewpoint in Assassin’s Creed Mirage

Assassin’s Creed Mirage is a solid return to the classic gameplay featured in the series’ earlier titles but with some twists. One particular change is a new tower you can synchronize at in the game known as the Assassin’s Creed Mirage Observatory viewpoint. Oddly enough, it isn’t so simple to get to the top of this structure.

How to find the Observatory Viewpoint in Assassin’s Creed Mirage

Before you can unlock the Assassin’s Creed Mirage Observatory viewpoint, you need to locate it on the map. It is in the city of Baghdad near the western wall in the Abbasiyah district. You will visit the library right next to the observatory in the main story, so it is a location you’ll come across fairly early in the game. However, it is a bit of a challenge to unlock the tower if you don’t know where to climb.

How to Unlock the Observatory Viewpoint

Unlike every single other viewpoint tower in the game, the Observatory notably has a fence at the top of the building with spikes you aren’t able to jump over. There are also no windows or doors to access the inside of the structure from the bottom either. There is only one way to reach the top, and it starts on the backside of the Observatory.

To access the Assassin’s Creed Mirage Observatory, look for the little alcove on the building, like in the screenshot above. Jump up to that point, and there is a beam that sticks out to the right of it (if you are facing the alcove) you can hop to. This beam leads you on a short platforming section up the side of the building and is the only way to get over the first set of spikes. You can then jump down and be on one of the lower roofs.

From there, you want to run up the nearby stairs to reach the very top of the Observatory, where the actual viewpoint is located. There, you can synchronize and jump off the side of it.
