One of the coolest features of Atelier Yumia is the ability to use a motorcycle. First, you have to unlock it, though, before you can start riding around on this Akira-inspired bike while in the middle of a mysterious fantasy world. Here’s what you need to know about how to get and use the motorcycle.

How to Unlock the Motorcycle in Atelier Yumia
While you may want to immediately use the cyberpunk motorcycle Yumia gets in this open-world title as soon as possible, it will take a bit in-game before you can get it. Of course, know that there are going to be some ever-so-slightly spoiler-y material ahead. With that in mind, you have to continue the main story to get the motorcycle.
To be exact, you get the motorcycle in the main story shortly after you reach the second region of the world known as Sivash. In total, you could get here in as little as four hours, especially if you are just focusing on the main story. That said, you explore the first region a lot and do a bit of the question mark content, I expect most players to take 7-8 hours and upwards of 10 hours to get here.

How to Use the Bike
Once you unlock the motorcycle in Atelier Yumia for Yumia to use, you can use it by holding down the right or left bumper button if you are on controller. This will bring up the radial wheel menu for different features like building and quick synthesis. One of the options in the top right corner is Procella, which is the official name of the bike.
Select Procella to instantly whip it out. You can also select it again from the radial menu to put it away. Thankfully, the bike is pretty easy to control. Just press forward to move, while you can also press the jump button to jump up. The trickiest part of controlling it is holding down the aim button (left trigger on controller), which allows you to pull up Yumia’s rifle. You can also shoot while driving to gather materials or weaken foes.
Atelier Yumia: The Alchemist of Memories & the Envisioned Land is available right now for Nintendo Switch, PS4, PS5, Xbox Series X/S, and PC.
