How to Unlock The Great Hunt in FFXIV Stormblood

Gaining access to this unique crossover content is fairly easy. However, it only becomes accessible after players have completed the Main Scenario Quest “Stormblood.” This means they must first beat the base game of the Stormblood expansion. Once this is done, you will want to head over to X:9.7, Y:8.9 in Kugane to pick up the quest “The New King on the Block.” Once you’ve done this, you can then access The Great Hunt and take on the fearsome Rathalos.

The requirements for unlocking The Jade Stoa are as follows:

  • Complete Main Scenario Quest “Stormblood”
  • Level 70
  • Item Level 320

How to The Great Hunt (Extreme)

Once you have completed “The New King on the Block” by successfully defeating the Rathalos, you can then unlock The Great Hunt (Extreme). Go to X:9.7, Y:8.9) in Kugane, and undertake the quest “The Newer King on the Block” to unlock The Great Hunt (Extreme). And that’s it! You’ve accepted all quests as part of The Hunt for Rathalos crossover content.

These are the requirements for unlocking The Jade Stoa (Extreme):

  • Complete “The New King on the Block”
  • Level 70
  • Item Level 350
