How to Unlock Season 1 Delves in World of Warcraft The War Within

Unlocking additional Delve difficulties that have been introduced in Season 1 is simple! You should immediately receive a pop-up in game that looks like the image below. If that pop-up has shown up, which it should for anyone that has unlocked Delves, head to the location circled on the map below in Dornogal and speak to Bran Bronzebeard.

Accept the quest “To Delves!” which you can quickly complete. Just speak to Bran again, and complete the quest. This will cause a second quest to pop up called “Seasonal Start,” which you will need to complete as well. This is done by talking to a few NPCs in the immediate vicinity. Once that’s done, you’ve unlocked your Seasonal Delves.

If you’re having a problem finding the NPC or quests, you can look for an upside down purple triangle marker as shown on the map above. These icons signify content or additional features you can unlock by completing these quests.

The update has expanded the Delve feature. Now players can unlock Delves past Level 3, and even take on a unique boss, Zekvir. Completing this will net you the Toxic Victory Toy. Additionally, completing Delves will help you gain rewards from The Great Vault.

World of Warcraft, and The War Within expansion, are available for PC.
