How to Unlock Rock Riot in Vampire Survivors

Rock Riot is a weapon in Vampire Survivors‘ Ode to Castlevania DLC, featuring an unusual unlock method. Instead of being tied to a character, Rock Riot is unlocked by defeating a specific boss in Ode to Castlevania. Here’s where to find the Behemoth, obtain Rock Riot, and how to evolve it into Gemma Torpor

In Vampire Survivors, Rock Riot drops from the Behemoth boss in the Ode to Castlevania stage. To find Behemoth, head north from the starting area to the top of the map and stand on the red sigil to summon it. When defeated, Behemoth will drop Rock Riot on the ground.

Picking up Rock Riot will allow you to use it for the rest of your run, but it won’t be added to the regular weapon pool until you’ve evolved it once. Don’t worry if your item slots are full; you can still pick up Rock Riot.

To evolve Rock Riot into Gemma Torpor, pick up the Stone Mask and level both items to their maximum level. Rock Riot will start to appear from your next run as a weapon choice when leveling up.

Evolving Rock Riot is one step towards unlocking John Morris and, eventually, the iconic Richter Belmont.

If you want to fast-track your way to Rock Riot, enter the code “polygonalbelnades” in the Secrets menu to unlock a hidden character with Rock Riot as their starting weapon. You can temporarily access Vampire Survivors‘ Secrets menu by tapping/clicking the Yellow Sign relic in the Collections screen seven times.

How to get the Stone Mask

The Stone Mask is a passive item unlocked after finding it as a stage item once. An easy way of getting the Stone Mask on the Ode to Castlevania stage is by using Arcana VIII — Mad Groove to pull an Arma Dio directly to you, allowing you to choose the Stone Mask.

If you have them, don’t forget that you can use Golden Eggs to your advantage for quick evolutions. Golden Eggs can be used in Ode to Castlevania once you’ve survived for 30 minutes.

Vampire Survivors and the Ode to Castlevania DLC are available on Nintendo Switch, Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S, PC, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, and mobile devices.
