What is Endless Mode in Vampire Survivors?

Endless Mode is exactly what it sounds like. Normally, once you reach about the 30 minute mark in a level, The Reaper spawns. It essentially serves as a finale to the stage and kills you. However, with Endless Mode turned on, The Reaper does not spawn.

Additionally, when The Reaper would spawn, instead the clock resets and all enemies get a huge boost. This will repeat indefinitely every “cycle.” I’d say the mode is definitely not for the faint of heart.

If you’re eager to try out Endless Mode in Vampire Survivors yourself, you’ll need to grab the Seventh Trumpet item.

How do I unlock Endless Mode in Vampire Survivors with the Seventh Trumpet?

First, you’ll need to unlock the special stage Eudaimonia Machine. This process is straightforward, but hardly easy. You’ll need to gather all 20 standard relics across all the stages.

However, a mysterious entity known as The Directer is the only inhabitant of the level. Interacting with The Directer causes them to ask you if the game has been “Too Easy” or “Too Hard.” Select “Too Hard,” and The Directer will give you the Seventh Trumpet.

Once you have the Seventh Trumpet, you’ll be kicked back to the main menu. If the title screen no longer has characters on it, then congrats! You now have access to Endless Mode! The stage select screen features a check box to select Endless Mode for your run.

Returning to The Directer after this will grant you the other remaining relic in the game, Gracia’s Mirror. This is how you unlock Inverse Mode.

Return to The Directer a third time, and he will challenge you to a battle. Therefore, this makes The Directer the final boss of the game.

Vampire Survivors is available for the Switch, Xbox One, Xbox Series X, PC, and mobile devices.
