Diablo IV Skip Campaign Feature Revealed

People won’t have to go through the Diablo IV campaign more than once unless they want to, as a “Skip Campaign” feature appeared in the latest announcement. Activision Blizzard’s “Inside the Game: Your Class Your Way” video for the game offered a quick glimpse at it. Global Community Development Director Adam Fletcher followed up with an explanation as to how to unlock it. [Thanks, DatModz on Twitter!]

Here’s how it works. At just about the 2:50 mark in the Diablo IV “Inside the Game: Your Class Your Way” video, it shows how a created character named Nerea has the “Skip Campaign” option alongside the “Change World Tier” and “Delete Character” ones. Fletcher followed up that this is unlocked after a player beats the game. After finishing the campaign with a character, that option appears for someone to pick.

Here’s the full video. It focuses on customizing characters’ appearances, skills, and equipment. It starts by going over character creation and describing the Barbarian, Sorcerer, Rogue, Druid, and Necromancer. From there, it looks at the character creator’s face & body, hair, and accessories sections. After that, it goes over the wardrobe and transmog options. Toward the end, it looks at playstyles and talks about the skill tree.

Diablo IV will release on June 6, 2023 for the PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X, and Windows PC.
