How to Unlock Crown Requests in Fields of Mistria

Completing requests is a considerable chunk of your daily tasks in Fields of Mistria. Every day, someone will post a request on the town bulletin board outside the general store. When you complete a request, you’re usually awarded some tesserae and a bit of renown to increase the town’s rank. Almost every request is a villager asking for one-to-three of a specific item. However, there’s a second echelon of requests that are a bit more difficult to complete. These are Crown Requests, and although they require a little more effort, they also offer better rewards. Here’s how to unlock crown requests in Fields of Mistria. 

How to Unlock Crown Requests in Fields of Mistria

To unlock Crown Requests, you’ll need to raise Mistria’s renown to the sapphire tier. This is achieved by raising the renown level to 50. You can raise renown in a variety of ways, shipping items being one of them. Another way to raise your renown quickly is by donating items to the museum, and completing regular requests. Upon reaching level 50 in renown, you’ll get a letter in the mail from Adeline, who will congratulate you on raising the town’s rank this high. The next day, you’ll get another letter announcing the availability of crown requests.

Crown Requests function just like normal requests, but are considerably more time-consuming and resource intensive. Unlike normal requests, crown requests are only posted to the bulletin board once a week. There is no deadline to completing crown requests. It’s also possible to have multiple crown requests active at once.

How to Complete Crown Requests in Fields of Mistria

Here’s a list of a few crown request requirements you’re likely to come across:

• Ship 30 Crops
• Ship 40 Fish
• Ship 6 Dining Tables and 12 Dining Chairs (these are just basic tables and chairs)
• Ship 30 Mine Forageables

As you can see, crown requests require you to place a certain number of specific items into the shipping bin on your farm. Items required for crown requests aren’t set aside when calculating the day’s profits. You’ll still be compensated for shipping these items, even if they’re needed for a crown request. Once you’ve shipped all the items, you’ll need to speak to Adeline to complete the request. Every crown request will reward you with 75 renown, and a golden treasure box. Golden treasure boxes will drop one item from a predetermined list at random.

75 renown is a big increase to your overall town rank progress. By comparison, only a few normal requests will grant 20 renown on completion. Furthermore, shipping items at a normal rate provides between 5-20 renown per day. If you want to accelerate your town rank progress, focus on crown requests!
