In order to unlock Containment Bay P1T6, you must have completed “When the Bough Wakes” and defeated Sephirot. After you have done this, you will then need to pick up the quest “The Fate of Stars.” These next series of quests will have you traveling around Azys La a lot. Which is fine, since you will be able to fly here. After completing that encounter, you will then have the chance to pick up the quest “Balance Unto All.” This will unlock the Containment Bay P1T6 Trial.

Unlocking Containment Bay P1T6 and defeating Sophia will grant you access to the Extreme version of this Trial. It will also allow you to continue this specific questline to unlock the next and final Trial as part of the Warring Triad.

Final Fantasy XIV is available for the PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, and PC.
