How to Unlock Containment Bay P1T6 (Extreme) in FFXIV

Final Fantasy XIV: Heavensward introduced a new series of content in the popular MMORPG. While none of them are particularly new, players may want to go back and unlock Trials like the level 60 Containment Bay P1T6 (Extreme) to fill out their list of mounts in FFXIV. We’ve broken down how to unlock this Extreme Trial below.

In order to unlock Sophia Extreme, players will need to have first completed “When the Boughs Wake,” defeated Sephirot, completed “The Fate of Stars,” and beaten Sophia. If you haven’t unlocked the Sephiroth Trial, we have a guide for that. And if you haven’t unlocked Sophia yet, it doesn’t take too much time to access either.

If you’ve done all of the above, head to The Rising Stones in Mor Dhona (X: 6.1 Y: 5.2) and pick up the quest “A Deific Simulacrum.” Following this questline will allow you to unlock this Extreme Trial at Azys Lla (X:25.4, Y:22.5, Z:8.4). Completing it will allow you to obtain Sophia-themed weapons, and a Sophic Lanner Whistle for a unique mount that will play the Trial theme when riding it. Like previous Extreme Trials released with Heavensward, you can tackle this fight unsync’d.

Final Fantasy XIV is available for the PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, and PC. Final Fantasy XIV: Heavensward is part of the game’s free trial, and immediately available to download.
