How to Turn Off Fandom in Holocure

Fandom in Holocure is a sort of meta-progression rank that can grant bonuses or stat boosts to your most played characters. However, there are some situations where you might want to turn this off such as when hunting specific achievements or if you simply feel like a challenge, so here’s how to turn off the Fandom feature in Holocure.

Where to Turn Off Fandom in Holocure

You can turn off the Fandom feature the same way you first activated it: by accessing the option in the game’s Shop menu. Simply enter the shop and find the Fandom upgrade on the first page (Ability) and click it to get the option to refund it. You’ll get back the coins spent on it and the feature deactivates, but should you want to turn it back on later you can simply buy it again. All previously unlocked Fandom levels will remain after re-activating the mode too, so you don’t have to worry about losing progress. Alternatively, you can select the Refund All option in the final tab of the shop to completely refund all your investments.

This is especially useful for hunting the achievement called Skill Issue, which requires clearing Stage Mode without any character skills. At a certain point Fandom for a character lets you start with one of their skills unlocked, which would invalidate the achievement. You can, of course, simply use a character that you haven’t gained any Fandom levels with, but just in case you somehow don’t have any or simply want to use your favorite character then this option is available.

Holocure is immediately available for PC via Steam and itch.io.
