You can traverse four ecosystems in Creatures of Ava, and while the Nari Jungle is the second ecosystem you encounter, you cannot use your flute immediately to tame the wild creatures living there. You will have to complete the “Jungle of Naam” quest, which will require you to reach the Naam village and obtain a new flute so the creatures in this ecosystem can hear the songs you play.
You will then learn the song of vines from Boh’ti in the village. After this, you can befriend the wild creatures in this land as long as they are not infected. Remember, you must save several creatures by taking them to rescue bots and transporting them to the BioArk before progressing to the next part of the storyline.
How to tame a Zard
From what we can tell, this creature listens to you the moment you learn the songs of vines. Whenever we approached a Zard in the wild, it would automatically be tamed and ready to connect with you. This wolf-like creature can break bridges that will open pathways within the environment.
How to tame a Shapur
The Shapur has two incredibly helpful abilities. The first is breaking jelly barriers, and the second is opening pinata plants. To tame this majestic pink creature, you will have to play the notes: F, G, A, B, C2.
How to tame a Hismit
The Hismit, a creature that bears a lot of resemblance to a ladybird, will probably be a creature you will connect with very often while in the Jungle. It has a unique ability to stop jungle blinder plants. To befriend the Hismit, you will have to play the flute notes: F, G, B, C2.
How to tame a Batar
This amphibian creature tends to dwell in the swamp-like areas in the Jungle. Like the Shapur, this creature has two abilities. It can break jelly barriers within the environment and break ropes that hold up bridges, which will allow you to travel across the Jungle far more quickly. To tame this creature, you must repeat these notes: F, C, F, C, G, C, G, C.
How to tame a Yekembo
The Yekembo have three abilities: they can clear jelly barriers, break cracked walls and rocks, and knock down weak trees. To tame this animal, you must play the following notes: C, C, G, C, C, G.
Creatures of Ava will be available for Xbox Series X and PC on August 7, 2024.
