To start with, you’ll need to be on a character of at least level 10, at which point you should receive a quest immediately upon logging in directing you to the city of Dalaran. If you’ve played any of the Legion expansion you can use the Dalaran Hearthstone in your Toy Box, but if not you can get there by using a new portal in your faction’s main city (Stormwind or Orgrimmar). However, if your character is Level 70 (or in our experience, at least level 60) you will instead receive a message from Jaina Proudmoore and a teleport scroll to Silithus. After a short set of story scenes, you’ll end up in Dalaran anyway.

Once there, you’ll be directed to Khadgar and several portals, one to each of the zones where the event can occur: Dustwallow Marsh, Dragonblight, and Searing Gorge. The event changes location every cycle, but the portal leading to where the event is currently active will be glowing slightly gold and have a timer above it, so click that one to be transported. The event cycles over a period of 90 minutes at first, but this will reduce week by week until the cycle lasts only 30 minutes. You’ll be able to hop in a portal back to Dalaran when the event ends, ready to head on to the next one.

How to Complete the Radiant Echoes event in World of Warcraft

The Radiant Echoes event in World of Warcraft takes place in stages, with the first requiring you to travel around the zone defeating ghosts called Congealed Memories. Once that’s done, stage 2 begins and several new events will appear. There’s usually around 6 events marked on the map and they usually involve simply killing creatures in an area, though others may ask you to gather items and bring them to crystal pylons or the like. After that, the boss appears for stage 3 and you’ll get a different one depending on the zone: Onyxia for Dustwallow, Arthas for Dragonblight, and Ragnaros for the Gorge. They aren’t particularly challenging and you won’t need to learn any mechanics, just make sure to deal some damage to it before the inevitable tide of players remove it from existence.

Once the boss is done, stage 4 is a cooldown phase before the next event but you’ll still be able to farm ghostly mobs to get the event currency, Residual Memories. There will be vendors in each of the 3 zones as well as Dalaran that will allow you to trade these in for mounts, gear, and cosmetics. You can take a look at the official site to see a full list of items and their cost in Residual Memories, but highlights include a mount for 20,000 memories, some 32 slot bags for 2000 each, and a ring for 25 that can be empowered with boss drops to become an heirloom.
