This puzzle will require you to obtain a series of x-rays to find the solution. One is in the room you will solve the puzzle in, while another is in the kitchen. To wipe away the mold and grime that’s collected on the image use the spray acquired in the room with the tubs full of putrid water. Combine the items and you’ll receive a clean version of the x-ray. From there, head back to the x-ray room and get ready to solve the puzzle.

The solution for this puzzle remains the same across difficulties. However, uncovering the solution is a bit different, at least in the way that you need to arrange the images. In order to find the solution, you will need to line up the x-rays according to the black marker lines. But as mentioned previously, the solution to this puzzle will be the same, regardless of what puzzle difficulty you pick. You can find the answer below:

From there, head to the safe and turn the dial to the right, to the left, and back to the right. It will then pop open and you’ll be able to grab the item inside to progress.

The Silent Hill 2 remake will come out on October 8, 2024 for the PS5 and Windows PC.
