Certain puzzles make a return in the Silent Hill 2 remake. But if you haven’t played in awhile or are entirely new to the game, you might be wondering where to put the minute, hour, and seconds hand. Look no further, you can find the solution to the Clock Puzzle in Silent Hill 2 remake below.
How to Solve the Silent Hill 2 Remake Clock Puzzle
The clock puzzle is a lot more straightforward this time around. Outside of the letters indicating which hand goes where, much like it did in the original game, on harder difficulties, you can only move the hour, minute, and second hand to specific spots on the clock. This means you’re not finagling with precise times down to the minute.
The solution itself is also written on the wall. What has changed about the puzzle in the remake is that it opens several doors in the reworked apartment, as opposed to letting James push the clock and access another room. You’ll get the hour hand first, which means you’ll be able to open the corresponding “H” door just outside and connected to the fire escape.
After you open that door you’ll quickly find the hands to progress through the level and finally make it out and on your way to the next area.
As for the solution, you can take a look below. You can also find a hint on the table just across from the clock if you wanna figure it out yourself. We’ll also bullet point the specific times so you can plug in the solution quickly.
- Henry (Hour) – 9
- Mildred (Minutes) – 2
- Scott (Seconds) – 3
And there you go! You’ve solved the clock puzzle. This is arguably one of the easier puzzles in the game, and can be solved quickly since the new apartment is a lot more linear and will have you playing through specific sections in sequential order.
The Silent Hill 2 remake will come out on October 8, 2024 for the PS5 and Windows PC.
