Baldur’s Gate 3 features a ton of puzzles for players to solve throughout its various areas, and one of the most confusing is found in the Gauntlet of Shar. This particular one gives almost no hints as for how to complete it. But I’ve got your back when it comes to the Baldur’s Gate 3 Gauntlet of Shar puzzle solution.
How to Solve the Gauntlet of Shar Puzzle in Baldur’s Gate 3
This Baldur’s Gate 3 puzzle begins in a wide room that has a statue in the middle with a crystal. If you try to approach the statue, it will immediately knock your character back with no clear way to proceed. What you need to do first is to find the four levers that are scattered in the four corners of this room.
Be careful, though, as there are traps around. Turning off each lever will lower lanterns, but turn off the lights there. This makes it quite hard to see, but you can use your minimap to reach all four corners and pull their levers.
Once you’re done with this, there will now be a ton of unlit lanterns scattered around the room. Interact with each one to turn them on until all of them are lit up. Once this is done, you’ll finally see a glowing circle appear on the ground around the statue. This is your way to reach the crystal.
The circle will have a couple of openings in it, which you need to carefully pass through without touching the border itself. Make your way through to the statue and interact with the crystal to finally shut this puzzle down and open the door to the next part of this area. I recommend using hide to sneak around carefully so you don’t accidentally touch the circle.
Baldur’s Gate 3 is available for PC and will release for the PS5 on September 6, 2023.
