All Romanceable Characters in Dragon Age: The Veilguard

There are seven characters in total for players to romance in this latest BioWare RPG. The following seven party members are the ones you will meet and recruit throughout the story that will be available for you to romance:

  • Harding
  • Neve
  • Bellara
  • Lucanis
  • Davrin
  • Taash
  • Emmrich

You get these different characters at various points in the main story. In the case of some of them, like Lucanis, you can even recruit them earlier than other companions depending on which order you do certain quests. Note that you are able to start romancing every character at the same time if you want, but there comes a point where you have to pick one and stick to it.

How to Romance Dragon Age: The Veilguard Characters

There are two distinct systems players need to know about when it comes to romance and the various romance options in Dragon Age: The Veilguard. The first of these systems is the Bond system. How this works is there is a Bond level for each character. It goes up and down based on gifts you give and decisions you make. This unlocks new skills for the character but has nothing to do with their romance.

Romance is entirely separate from Bond. All you need to do to romance a character is pick the “heart” option whenever it appears in conversations with them. You also want to speak with that particular person every time there is a conversation to be had with them at the Lighthouse. Finally, you want to progress their relationship to the point where you do any and all companion side quests for that particular person. Do all of these, progress through the main story, and you will be able to fully romance that person.

Dragon Age: The Veilguard is available right now for PS5, Xbox Series X/S, and PC.
