Vampire Survivors starts off as a very straightforward game, but if you play enough, it will manifest into something else entirely. The early hours of being impressed by the garlic weapon, as it obliterates most creatures that come into contact with its radiating circle, will become a distant memory. It will be replaced with ambitions of hunting down obscure relics in complex new maps, collecting golden eggs, and trying to defeat the ominous reapers that lurk within the stages. Let alone it’s many DLC expansions that have included new weapons and bosses. The most recent, Ode to Castlevania, almost doubled the potential character roster.
Although this is part of the enigmatic charm that has made Vampire Survivors so successful, a part of you may want to go back to the simpler time of walking into a hoard of bats with the garlic weapon. If that is the case, you might want to reset your progress in Vampire Survivors.
How do I refund my power-ups in Vampire Survivors?
If you are looking for an experience that mimics your first few hours of the game but don’t necessarily want to lose all your progress so far, you could consider refunding your power-ups instead. If you choose to refund your power-ups, it will take the status effects away from all the characters and return the money you spent.
To do this, click the green button from the main menu that says power-up. An enormous button at the top of the screen will say refund power-ups. Press this button, and it will refund everything. Alternatively, you could go to a specific power-up and click on it, making the power-up inactive. To reactivate it, press on it once again.
It’s worth noting that the golden eggs you collected for specific characters will remain intact, so this method may not give everyone the authentic feeling of the original Vampire Survivors experience.
How do I reset my progress in Vampire Survivors?
It’s not the most apparent how you reset your progress in Vampire Survivors, but there is a simple method to do it without worrying about your device settings. A small button at the top of the main menu says options. You will then be brought to the options menu. There should be six subsections on the left-hand side, all represented with icons. Go to the last one that will take you into account and the language settings. Now press the same icon seven times, and you will be presented with a new option: delete save. Click on delete save, and all your progress will reset.
Vampire Survirors and the Ode to Castlevania DLC are available on Nintendo Switch, Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S, PC, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, and mobile devices.
