Concerned Ape added a lot of new features and systems for Stardew Valley players to check out with the release of Update 1.6 across all platforms, from mobile to console to PC. One of the more surprising features is a new equipment item in the form of Trinkets. Players can use and even reroll Trinkets in Stardew Valley to greatly enhance combat and other scenarios.
How do I reroll Trinkets in Stardew Valley?
You can get Trinkets through a number of different methods, such as drops from defeating monsters, destroying crates, finding treasure in the Skull Cavern, buying from Alex during the Desert Festival, and much more. Most of these Trinkets that you get can be re-forged using an Anvil. Doing so will randomize the stats they have.
This is useful for getting better stats or ones that are more useful to your particular playstyle. To reroll Trinkets, you need to spend three Iridium Bars per reroll you want to do. This can get quite expensive, so be sure to save on those Iridium Bars if you want to reroll all of your Trinkets.
All Trinkets in Stardew Valley, Explained
There is a total of eight different Trinkets for players to collect in Stardew Valley. All but two of them can have rerolls through the Anvil. The two exceptions you can’t reroll for are the Basilisk Paw and Magic Hair Gel. This is because of the effect of these two Trinkets that don’t really need to be rerolled.
Here are all eight of the Trinkets available in this farming sim and what they each do:
- Basilisk Paw: Makes the player immune to all debuffs.
- Fairy Box: Allows the player to summon a fairy in battle that has healing powers.
- Frog Egg: Allows the player to summon a frog.
- Golden Spur: Anytime the player lands a critical hit, they will gain a speed boost for a short time.
- Ice Rod: Lets the player fire off ice orbs that freeze enemies for a short time.
- Magic Hair Gel: The player’s hair will shine with various colors.
- Magic Quiver: Every few seconds, the player will launch a magic arrow that deals solid damage to enemies.
- Parrot Egg: Allows the player to summon a parrot that provides a decent chance at finding gold after defeating enemies.
Stardew Valley is available right now for Android, iOS, Nintendo Switch, PS4, Xbox One, and PC.
