There are plenty of collaboration events that have happened for Final Fantasy XIV, but the latest one lets players obtain one of the most adorable mounts available. Players can get the Porxie King mount as a free reward if they participate in the limited-time FFXIV and Gong Cha collaboration event, and here’s how to redeem the code for it.
How do I get the Porxie King mount?
First and foremost, before you can start flying around on the Porxie King mount, it is crucial that you fulfill the requirements to unlock this mount in the first place. How it works is players must visit an actual Gong Cha location and buy a certain amount of items depending on your location. This needs to be done while the event is active until August 28, 2024.
For players in Japan, you must spend 2,000 yen or more on a single purchase to get this mount. For everyone else in North America, Europe, and Oceania, you need to buy three separate drinks in the same exact order. Not three separate orders, but three individual drinks in the same order. The types of drinks themselves don’t matter as long as there are three of them, though there are going to be drinks themed around the game available to try.
Where do I redeem the FFXIV Gong Cha rewards
Once you buy three drinks or more in a single purchase at Gong Cha, you will then obtain the code for the FFXIV Porxie King mount. As long as the event is still ongoing, you will be able to earn this code and redeem it for the mount within the game.
Your receipt for the order will come with the code you need. You’ll be able to enter that code on the Mogstation to obtain your mount for your account. This is the same Porxie King mount that was previously only available in Japan with the Lawson convenience store collaboration event.
Final Fantasy XIV is available right now for PS4, PS5, Xbox Series X/S, and PC. The Gong Cha event runs from July 17-August 28, 2024.
