How to Redeem the Diablo IV Character Boost

Diablo IV features a new freebie for all players regardless of how long you’ve played or if you own the Vessel of Hatred expansion. All you need to do is ensure you have a character in the Eternal Realm and you will be able to benefit from the new Diablo 4 character boost. This is absolutely worth the required time to seek this out.

Where to Redeem the Diablo 4 Character Boost

There is only one place where players are able to redeem the new Welcome Back Character Boost. First of all, this booster only works for a character in the Eternal Realm. As such, you will not be able to use this booster for any characters that you are currently using in the active Seasonal Realm.

Pick the Eternal Realm character you want to boost and then start playing as them. Travel to the tavern in Kyovashad as that character. There, you will find the Fated Reliquary inside the tavern. Interact with it and the chosen character you are playing as in the Eternal Realm will get the Welcome Back Character Booster.

How the Welcome Back Character Boost Works

There is quite a lot you get with the new Diablo 4 Character Boost. These are the following items and additions you get for your Eternal Realm character:

  • A boost for the character to Level 50
  • The ability to pick one of three complete builds for the class you are playing as
  • A full set of Legendary items
  • A Complete skill tree for that build
  • All Altars of Lilith unlocked
  • 1 million Gold
  • 1000 Obols
  • A Scroll of Amnesia
  • Various crafting materials

Note that every player is able to use this Character Boost for a single Eternal Realm character. It begins on November 19, 2024, and seems to be permanent. If you happen to own the Vessel of Hatred expansion, you can boost not one but two characters in total.

Diablo IV is available right now for PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S, and PC.
