How to Redeem the 2XKO Alpha Lab Playtest Codes

After being presented by the developers at multiple trade shows such as EVO and Summer Game Fest, 2XKO is finally in the hands of patient players at home in the form of a playtest from August 8, 2024 – August 19, 2024. However, it is only available to those who were lucky enough to get a code for the 2XKO Alpha Lab playtest. If you were fortunate enough to receive an invite, here is how to redeem your 2XKO Alpha Lab playtest code.

How do I find my 2XKO Alpha Lab code?

In order to receive a chance to participate in the 2XKO Alpha Lab playtest, you first must register on the Riot Games website. Once you have registered with a Riot Games account, Riot Games will send you an email congratulating you on a successful registration. Riot Games will also prompt you to take a survey. The email you used will also be the one Riot Games will send your invite to.

If you received an email from Riot Games welcoming you to the 2XKO Alpha Lab Playtest, click the Let’s Go option. This will send you to Riot Games’ 2XKO Alpha Lab Hub. This web page prompts users to sign in with the Riot Games account they registered to participate with. Riot Games gives players the option to choose what platform they wish to download the Alpha Lab playtest for.

To download 2XKO on consoles, navigate to the Console button on the web page. Doing so will allow you to choose between the PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S. Selecting the PlayStation 5 option will give players a 12 digit voucher to enter on the PlayStation official website or the PlayStation Store on console. Choosing the Xbox Series X|S option is similar to that of the PlayStation 5. Players will receive 25 digit code they must enter into the Microsoft official website or the Microsoft Store on Xbox Series consoles.

For PC players, the process is slightly different. Clicking the Download to PC option will send you to a page in which Riot Games will let you download the playtest directly to your PC. Be sure to be on a PC when clicking this option. Otherwise, players will get a message to go back to the previous page.

Can I still participate in the 2XKO Alpha Lab playtest?

As of August 8, 2024, Riot Games is still allowing players to register for the 2XKO Alpha Lab playtest. That does not guarantee you will be able to participate in the League of Legends fighter playtest, however. Similar to the Valorant Limited Beta, those who were able to be included were given a referral link to invite a friend to join in on the fun.

2XKO is coming to PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC in 2025.
