How do I recruit Ochlys in Unicorn Overlord?

You’ll first meet Ochlys in the early “The Winged Knight” side mission past Treyes Village and near Fort Chandelis. You’ll need to deal with the Black Talon thief Mandrin’s forces and rescue a cleric named Sharon first.

After you complete that mission, you’ll learn Ochlys is collecting Divine Shards. She’ll open a shop at every church on the map that you can visit to trade Divine Shards for items and equipment. This triggers the Overworld quest “An Angel’s Request.” Your goal now is to find 30 Divine Shards and “buy” items from her as a means of returning them to her. These shards can be found scattered at glittering spots around the map sometimes or dug up rarely at Cornia Quarry.

Once you spend 30 Divine Shards at Ochlys’ shop and leave it, she’ll acknowledge that she has what she needs, pledge herself to the Liberation Army, and also give you a Lapis Pendant, a Carnelian Pendant, and 1,000 G. She’s a Feathersword unit who arrives equipped with a Heavenswing Sword and Heavenswing Shield. From here on out, a generic Angel character will appear at churches to exchange items for Divine Shards.

Unicorn Overlord is available for the Nintendo Switch, PS4, PS5, and Xbox Series X
