How to Reach the Black Shores in Wuthering Waves

The Black Shores in Wuthering Waves is the final area the Rover explores prior to entering Rinascita in Version 2.0. In order to access this region, you will need to first get through the story.

For starters, you need to finish the “Thaw of Eons” quest. This was the story that came out during Version 1.1, focusing on Jinhsi and Jue. Hongzhen and Mt. Firmament were the new areas you could access during this patch. At the end of the quest, the game will prompt you to visit the Black Shores to find some of the answers you seek. It’s actually very simple to reach the Black Shores, as you only need to play through the main story. Conversely, if you don’t do that, you physically cannot reach this area.

Here’s how to get to the Black Shores in Wuthering Waves:

1. Start the “From the Echoes of Destruction” quest and go to the Port City of Guixu.
2. Speak with the NPC Niya and then follow the instructions that appear on screen to play through the quest.
3. After a cutscene, you will wake up in an unfamiliar area and start the “Hidden Between the Waves” quest. Congratulations, you’ve arrived at the Black Shores.

Once you get through the cave in the starting area, you can explore more of the area and story. Since you unlock a teleport point here, you can also leave to do something else and then pick up the story later.
