Navigating through Dracula’s Castle in Vampire Survivors: Ode to Castlevania is no easy task – the labyrinth is full of twists and turns in every direction. Luckily, unlockable teleportation gates scattered around the castle make traversing it much more manageable. Here’s how to find the Relic and open the Capra Gate in the Vampire Survivors Castlevania map.
Where to Unlock the Capra Gate in Vampire Survivors Ode to Castlevania
To open the Capra Gate in Vampire Survivors: Ode to Castlevania, you’ll need to reach the bottom of the Grand Library and defeat the Paranoia boss. You can accomplish this with any character you choose, so pick your favorite and prepare to face your fears.
The image below shows the exact path to reach the bottom of the Grand Library and the Paranoia boss. Note that this path begins at the Scorpion Gate and right before the entrance to the Alchemy Lab. If you haven’t yet unlocked the Scorpion Gate, we highly recommend doing so first.
While the Grand Library is massive, reaching Paranoia is fairly straightforward. Follow the steps below to reach your destination and, ultimately, unlock the Capra Gate:
1) Pass through the Alchemy Lab
Beginning from the Scorpion Gate, head northeast until you reach the Alchemy Lab. Move south through the Alchemy Lab towards the Puppet Master rune and then northeast again to head towards the exit of the lab and the entrance of the Grand Library.
2) Navigate through the Grand Library
The Grand Library consists of several long, horizontal hallways. From the entrance, head east until you reach the end of the first hallway. Move down into the next hallway and head west, then, move down into another hallway and head east again.
Once you reach the end of this hallway, you’ll enter a vertical-shaped room with bookshelves on either side.
3) Find and Defeat Paranoia
At the southern end of the vertical hallway in the Grand Library, you’ll spot the Paranoia rune on the ground. Walk over it to summon the boss and slay them, who will drop the Relic needed to unlock the Capra Gate.
Once you’ve unlocked the Capra Gate, you can use it at the beginning of each run to teleport to the area south of the Grand Library, allowing you to skip past the never-ending rows of bookshelves. Additionally, you may now discover Mirrors of Truth around the map, which are special pickups needed to unlock Charlotte.
Vampire Survivors and the Ode to Castlevania DLC are now available on Nintendo Switch, Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S, PC, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, and mobile devices.
