Inspired by enemies from the Molten Core raid in Classic, the Core Hound is a mount first added during the game’s 10th Anniversary. Available once again during the 20th Anniversary event, here’s how to earn the Core Hound mount in World of Warcraft.
Where to Buy the Core Hound Chain in World of Warcraft
Getting the Core Hound mount is simple: you buy it from the vendor called Storekeeper Reginald in the central pavilion of the WoW Anniversary Celebration Grounds. The mount will set you back 20 Bronze Celebration Tokens, so bear that in mind if you’re also wanting to pick up some of the revamped Tier 2 armor sets as they cost the same currency. These tokens are awarded from a variety of weekly repeatable and one-time-only quests in the Celebration Grounds, and you can read more about how to get them in Siliconera’s Bronze Celebration Tokens guide.

World of Warcraft, and The War Within expansion, are immediately available on PC and Mac, while the 20th Anniversary Event is set to last until January 6, 2025.
