How to make someone a Key Holder in LEGO Fortnite

If you want to make someone a key holder in LEGO Fortnite, you want to head to the main lobby while selecting the LEGO game mode. While here, pick the world you want to share with someone and join it. Then make sure to invite the person into your party and world who you want to make a key holder.

While they are in your world, open up the main menu where you find your inventory, map, and players. Head to the Players tab and select the player you want to share a key with. You only get seven keys in total per world, so pick the seven players you want to make key holders wisely.

What a Key Holder can do

A Key Holder is essentially a fellow admin or owner of the world you have created in LEGO Fortnite. You may be the original creator, but they have just as many of the privileges as you. For instance, they can play on the world as much as they want, even if you are offline. However, if someone is not a Key Holder, they cannot play if you are offline.

This is why it is limited to only seven Key Holders in addition to the original creator to limit this option. Because of this, you really want to pick and choose who you want to have these privledges carefully. Note someone doesn’t have to be a Key Holder to play in your world as long as you are online. When in doubt, don’t make someone a Key Holder if you question their possible intentions or you don’t know them well.

LEGO Fortnite is available for Android, Nintendo Switch, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S, and PC.
