Money is called Gol in My Time at Sandrock and is used for everything from buying supplies to upgrading your workshop. Therefore, throughout the game, you’ll want to obtain as much Gol as possible to keep your workshop going. There are many ways to get money reliably in the city-sim RPG.

The simplest way to get money in My Time at Sandrock is by selling crafted items and other collectibles you find while scavenging. These can range in value, and certain perks you can unlock can even give you more for your sales. While this is a consistent source of income throughout the game, it’s small amounts at a time and can also take time from your other responsibilities.

However, the best way to make more money per time spent is to use the game’s commissions feature.

You should be checking the Commission’s board regularly as you play. Each commission can net you hundreds of Gol, with many of the tasks having a quick turnaround. Doing these consistently can rapidly increase your in-game net worth and give you the ability to make upgrades and save time by buying crafting supplies.

Also, the EXP gains from commissions help you further progress your character. Therefore, making sure you’ve always got a commission going is helpful, especially in the early game. You can also increase your profits from commissions through perks and social interaction. For example, becoming buddies with Yan will increase the amount of Gol for each commission.

My Time at Sandrock will come to the PS5, Switch, Xbox One, Xbox Series X, and PC on November 2, 2023.
