How to Make an Air Drop to Dive in Atelier Ryza 3

Ryza can gather items underwater in Atelier Ryza 3 if you dive in, but you may wonder how to do it. Well, you need a specific gathering tool first. The item in question is the Air Drop, and it isn’t terribly complicated as long as you can already make Honey.

There are two ingredients for the Air Drop in Atelier Ryza 3. One is a Neutralizer. You can use Blue, Green, Red, or Yellow ones for this step, so whichever is easiest for you to acquire is fine. I like to go with Yellow, because I always had an abundance of Amatite Ore from gathering them with Ryza’s hands in Pixie Forest. You need two of those and one Soft Sand, which you can find in the forest, to make the Yellow Neutralizer.

Honey is a little more difficult, because you need a bug. This means you can’t make an Air Drop until you get a Catcher’s Net. Once you do, head to some of the bushes in Pixie Forest. You should be able to find a Seven Stars bug there. You need one of those, a Beehive you can occasionally find on the ground near trees in Pixie Forest, and an Eiche you can get from hitting a log on the ground with Ryza’s staff. Combine all three to make Honey.

Now, from there, open up the Atelier Ryza 3 Air Drop recipe. Combine the Neutralizer of your choice and the Honey. Equip it to your items while you’re in Ryza’s atelier.

From there, head to some water Ryza can swim in. If you’re wondering how to dive in Atelier Ryza 3, press Y on the Switch or square on a PS4 or PS5 controller.
