How to Craft a Fishing Rod in Lego Fortnite

Before you can fish, you’ll need a fishing rod. You’ll want to craft this on your crafting bench. Fortunately, if you’ve been playing the game, you should be able to craft this pretty quickly. You need to have a level three village and then a spinning wheel. This is because these are the materials you need to make a fishing rod:

  • Wooden rod
  • Wolf claw
  • 2 cords

You get the two cords by putting two vines in a spinning wheel. You can get vines by gathering them on the ground or gathering vegetables like corn. The wooden rod comes from using a lumber mill to turn a piece of wood into a rod. Finally, the wolf claw comes from defeating a wolf. That last part can be a challenge. Make sure to get a health charm, bring a villager with you, and equip yourself with a sword and shield. Once you have these items, craft the fishing rod at the crafting bench.

How to Fish in Lego Fortnite

Fishing is pretty easy and simple once you have a Lego Fortnite fishing rod. What you want to do is find a large body of water, such as a river, lake, or ocean. Get close to the edge of the water, pull out the fishing rod, and then hold down the right trigger (for controller players) to cast the rod into the water. Wait until you get a tug on the line, and then hold down the right trigger again to reel it and claim your prize.

Lego Fortnite is available right now for Android, Nintendo Switch, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S, and PC.
