How to Invite Itao to the Mineko’s Night Market Village

There are multiple people who can move to the village in Mineko’s Night Market once the market hits level 4, and Itao is one of them. This character is actually one of the easiest people to move in, provided you have the right items. It just means spending a few days at the docks, and maybe the Birch Forest if you don’t have enough paper.

How to get Itao to move to the village in Mineko’s Night Market

So the first thing you want to do after finding out you can invite people to move to the village is head to the Dock. Itao will be right at the bus stop. Strike up a conversation. After going on a bit, the character will ask for 20 pieces of paper to make pamphlets for the Octo Pull night market stand. If you already have them, you can give those right away. If not, you’ll need to make a separate trip to the Birch Forest to get them.

Once Itao has the papers, you need to wait one day, then return to the Docks in Mineko’s Night Market. The character will be at the bus stop again. This time, you’ll get 12 Octo Pull Pamphlets to distribute to NPCs. This can be accomplished at the village on a sunny day. (Don’t forget that you can give one to Mineko’s dad too!)

After you give out all the pamphlets, head back to the Dock one more time and talk to Itao. Say that you passed the items out. The character will commit to opening a booth at the night market, will move to the village and be in a tent there when you get home, and will give you a Flower Craftbench Deluxe Bouquet recipe, a Sewing Craftbench Yokai Face Zipper Pouch recipe, and a Kitton Candy.

Mineko’s Night Market is available on the Nintendo Switch and PC. It will be on the PS4, PS5, and Xbox One on October 26, 2023.
