How to Get Young Sephiroth in FFVII Ever Crisis

Square Enix revealed Sephiroth would be an integral character in Final Fantasy VII Ever Crisis, but it wasn’t until September 2023 that the developer revealed that he would be a playable character. Thankfully, young Sephiroth is extremely easy to obtain in FFVII Ever Crisis. And once you have him, you can add him to your party to have a much younger version of the legendary SOLDIER as an extremely adept damage dealer. Here’s exactly how to get him.

How to get young Sephiroth as a playable FFVII Ever Crisis character

Everyone will receive young Sephiroth in Ever Crisis as of September 29, 2023. He is available as part of a new chapter update and is distributed entirely for free. What is notable is that he also appears alongside a free five-star weapon called Nameless. This means that Sephiroth will start with a five-star weapon of his very own, much like Cloud, Zack, and Glenn.

Nameless is a fairly decent weapon, and it is a fairly strong choice for Sephiroth as it decreases the MDEF of an enemy when you use Telluric Fury. This weapon will be given to you automatically, much like Sephiroth.

He is a character that functions similarly to Tifa, in that he is capable of dealing incredible amounts of damage. However, his healing is somewhat selfish, as the only weapon he obtains that is capable of healing him is a single target heal that provides increased DEF and Regen to himself.

Since Sephiroth is a free character, like all current characters as of September 29, 2023) and comes with his own free 5-Star weapon, I’d say he’s worth investing in for new players. Especially since making a team of Cloud, Zack, and Sephiroth packs a significant punch.
