How to Get to The Den in Starfield

Starfield has plenty of unique and fascinating locations for you to explore across the galaxy. One of the best places to visit early in the game is The Den, since it is a haven for less savory activities. If you want to find the prime place for contraband deals, here’s head to The Den in Starfield.

Where to Find The Den in Starfield

To reach The Den in Starfield, you want to open up your star map or hop into the pilot seat of your ship. Either way, bring up the galaxy map and zoom out to where you can see the solar systems. Pick the Wolf System (northeast of Alpha Centauri if coming from there) and head to the planet of Chthonia.

Orbiting around this planet is the space station known as The Den. You can board The Den once you reach a distance of 500 kilometers or less from the station. Once you dock your ship, you are able to board and see what this location is all about.

As you might surmise from the name, The Den is the cool hang out place in the cosmos for those with less legal intentions. For you, in particular, you’ll find that it only has a few NPCs to talk to, a ship technician to modify and buy ships from, and the Trade Authority to sell items to.

While this may seem rather disappointing, the benefit is the Trade Authority merchant here will let you sell illegal goods to them. I’m not just talking about stolen items either, but contraband marked by the yellow symbol.

These are the items that would normally cause you to be arrested on planets without shielded cargo, and can net you tons of credits. When you are early in this game, The Den is the best place to sell illegal goods.
