How to Get the Vindicator Title in Starfield Shattered Space DLC

Starfield Shattered Space wastes no time in easing players into one of the most engaging storylines in the entire RPG. The DLC expansion focuses on House Va’ruun and players have plenty of unique decisions and rewards to obtain throughout Shattered Space. One such reward is the Vindicator title some players can get in Starfield Shattered Space.

Starfield Shattered Space Titles, Explained

As you likely already know, you pick your character’s name at the start of the game when you create them. As such, the NPCs throughout the galaxy refer to you by various titles since they can’t exactly say every possible name in existence. The same goes for the Shattered Space DLC, where House Va’ruun refers you to by a title.

This title, though, is actually something that isn’t set in stone like the other ones in the RPG. Instead, you get to pick your title, though the game doesn’t make this clear to you initially. In fact, you can’t even change your title after you make the decision unless you reload a save. This happens during “The Promised, Broken” quest and its ritual.

Which Effigy Combination Makes the Starfield Shattered Space Vindicator Title?

How the hazy ritual works is you pick two of the four effigies available and place them on pedestals. The combination of statues you pick determines your title. Of course, there are some titles that are much nicer than others. One of the most popular titles that players want to get in Starfield Shattered Space is the Vindicator title.

If you want to get the Vindicator title yourself, you will need to pick these two statues: Effigy of Perserverance and the Effigy of Strength. If you pick this combination of statues, you will earn the Vindicator title and everyone in the DLC will refer to you as such.
