One of the best secrets in Cyberpunk 2077 2.0 is you can get your own pet iguana egg if you fulfill a certain task. This is only available during a single quest in the game, so you don’t want to miss out on this optional but highly recommended decoration for V’s apartment. Here’s what you need to do.
Where is the Cyberpunk 2077 iguana egg location in 2.0?
You are not able to get the Cyberpunk 2077 2.0 iguana egg until you reach “The Heist” in the main story. This quest is the final one in Act 1 of the game, so you’ll want to progress through the campaign until you reach this point. Once you do, you can find the iguana egg in Yorinobu’s penthouse suite.
You’ll want to head to the first floor of the suite and look for Yorinobu’s iguana pet there. It is right next to a tree and you’ll find the iguana egg right behind the tree. Pick it up and this will let you optionally get a pet iguana down the road. Unfortunately, it starts out as an egg, so you’ll have to hatch it in the future.
How to hatch the pet iguana in Cyberpunk 2077 2.0
After acquiring the iguana egg, you’ll want to complete the Act 1 quest “The Heist.” Once it’s done, continue in the main story in Act 2 until you go to Tom’s Diner and speak with Takemura there. At this point, you can finally return to V’s apartment and find a bowl there. Interact with this bowl to place the iguana egg inside of it.
Once you do this, it is now time to wait until the egg hatches. Unfortunately, it takes a whopping 90 in-game days or so for the egg to hatch. That is quite a lot of time, which you can wait or sleep off until it finishes. This is ultimately up to you. Once the 90 days pass, the egg will hatch and you’ll have a fancy pet iguana in your apartment.
