How to Get the FFXIV Labyrinthos Grape Lamppost

Most Final Fantasy XIV housing items look great, but few have the level of lore significance as one of the newest furnishings in Patch 6.55. The FFXIV Labyrinthos Grape Lamppost is a surprisingly beautiful and hilarious housing item that brings back the infamous grapes meme from Endwalker in a permanent way in-game.

How do I acquire the Labyrinthos Grape Lamppost in FFXIV Patch 6.55?

If you want to acquire the Labyrinthos Grape Lamppost for yourself in Patch 6.55, there are two main ways to get it. The first is to make the new housing item yourself as an Alchemist. But I understand that some players may not have this particular crafting job class unlocked, so they may be unable to make it.

Fortunately, you have the alternative of purchasing the housing item from someone who crafted it on the market board. The downside to this is it sometimes be a bit pricey, especially due to it being a newer, meme-level one that everyone will likely want. Thankfully, you can visit basically any world and data center these days, so it is easy to find the cheapest place to buy it.

How do I craft the Labyrinthos Grape Lamppost?

That said, if you are like me and love crafting, you’re probably going to save a few thousand Gil, though it is a generally cheap item. You need a level 90 Alchemist and can find the item under the outdoor furnishings section of housing recipes. You don’t need a master recipe book for this one.

Here are the ingredients you need to make it, which you can gather yourself or purchase on the market board:

  • 5 Berkanan Sap
  • 4 Shroud Seedling
  • 4 Growth Formula Kappa (which Alchemist also makes)
  • 1 Glade Pendant Lamp (which Carpenter makes)
  • 32 Water Crystals
  • 32 Lightning Crystals

It is a recipe with a recommended Craftmanship of 2805, so make sure to have gear at that level or consume some food to get there. I recommend a lot of Rapid Synthesis, Manipulation, and Master’s Mend when in doubt, since we aren’t going for high-quality for this one. You just want to complete it.

Final Fantasy XIV is available for the PS4, PS5, and PC. It will also release for the Xbox Series X/S in open beta in February 2024.
